Installation
Install the Jasper GitHub App to enable AI-powered code reviews on your repositories.
Install the GitHub App
- Visit the Jasper GitHub App page
- Click "Install"
- Select the organization or account where you want to install Jasper
- Choose repository access:
- All repositories - Jasper monitors all current and future repos
- Only select repositories - Choose specific repos
- Click "Install" to confirm
Required Permissions
Jasper requires the following GitHub permissions:

Sign In to Dashboard
After installing the GitHub App, sign in to the Jasper dashboard to:
- View all your code reviews
- Manage repository settings
- Configure team members
- Monitor credit usage
Modifying Installation
To add or remove repositories after installation:
- Go to your GitHub organization/account settings
- Navigate to Installed GitHub Apps
- Click Configure next to Jasper
- Update repository access as needed
Uninstalling
To remove Jasper from your organization:
- Go to your GitHub organization/account settings
- Navigate to Installed GitHub Apps
- Click Configure next to Jasper
- Scroll down and click Uninstall
Note: Uninstalling will stop all reviews but your review history remains accessible in the dashboard.
