Jasper for desktop
Chat and calls, mail, time tracking and leave in one app for macOS, Windows and Linux. Install it once and it keeps itself up to date.
Installing
- Open the downloaded .dmg and drag Jasper into Applications.
- Open Jasper from Applications. It's signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens straight away.
- Coming from Jasper 2.5.3 or earlier? Install this version once by hand; after that, updates install themselves.
- Run the downloaded installer.
- If Edge says the file “isn't commonly downloaded” (new releases do this until enough people have downloaded them), open the … menu next to the download, choose Keep, then Keep anyway.
- It's signed by Shakewell Agency Pty Ltd. If Windows still shows “Windows protected your PC” (it can for a new release), click More info, check the publisher is Shakewell Agency Pty Ltd, then click Run anyway.
- AppImage: make it executable with
chmod +x Jasper-*.AppImage, then run it. - Debian / Ubuntu: install the package with
sudo apt install ./jasper-desktop_*_amd64.deb.
After the first install, Jasper updates itself.
