Where Harvest is better

  • Invoicing and expense tracking on every plan, even Free. Jasper does not send invoices or track expenses.
  • Accounting and payment integrations from Teams: Stripe, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Deel and others.
  • Apps for iOS and Android. Jasper has no mobile apps.
  • Profitability reporting, unlimited custom reports and SAML SSO on Enterprise.

Where Jasper is better

  • Timesheet approvals on Jasper's team plans, with weekly, fortnightly or monthly periods. In Harvest they are on Enterprise.
  • Leave requests, accrual policies, balances and public holidays next to the timesheets. Approved leave and holidays can turn into time entries, so weeks are not short.
  • The desktop app notices when you step away and asks what to do with that time. It does not track other apps or websites.
  • Chat, calls and mail in the same workspace, so a client email, the discussion about it and the timer sit together.

Using Jasper with your invoicing tool

  • Open Reports and filter by client and date range.
  • Export to CSV or PDF. Exports hold hours and a billable flag, not amounts. Owners and admins decide which entries are billable.
  • Create the invoice in Xero, QuickBooks or whatever you invoice from today.

Harvest pricing

Harvest lists all prices in USD as starting prices: as a team grows, additional invoices, projects, clients and tasks are billed based on use. Harvest shows yearly billing as 20% off. Timesheet approvals, profitability reporting and SAML SSO are on Enterprise. Teams and Enterprise come with a 30-day free trial. Prices are copied as Harvest's own page showed them to us on 4 Oct 2026; your currency may differ.

Jasper: free to start, with chat and calls, mail in the desktop app, the wiki, staff training, the API client and AI code review with 250 free AI credits a month. Time tracking, leave, the intranet and uptime monitoring are on team plans. See pricing or talk to us.
