ClickUp Integration

Connect your code reviews to ClickUp tasks for seamless project management.

Overview

Jasper's ClickUp integration links your pull requests to ClickUp tasks. Put CU- and the task ID in a pull request title. After Jasper reviews the pull request, it:

  • Links the pull request to the task
  • Posts the review summary as a comment on the task, if Post review comments on tasks is on
  • Comments on the pull request with the tasks it linked

ClickUp is on team plans, with a 14-day trial. Owners and admins connect it.

Getting Started

1. Connect Your ClickUp Workspace

  1. Navigate to Settings → ClickUp in the Jasper dashboard
  2. Click Enable ClickUp Integration to start the 14-day trial
  3. Click Connect ClickUp and sign in to ClickUp
  4. Tick the workspaces Jasper may use and allow access

Note: The integration is configured at the organisation level. Jasper can read and change what the person who connects can in the workspaces they tick.

2. Configure Repository Mapping

Map your GitHub repositories to ClickUp spaces. This tells Jasper where to look for linked tasks. Learn more about repository mapping →

What it doesn't do

  • Jasper doesn't change a task's status when a pull request opens or merges. You can change a task's status yourself from the desktop app, after you connect your own ClickUp account in Tasks.
  • Jasper doesn't send time to ClickUp. A time entry can link to a task; the hours stay in Jasper.
  • Task IDs are read from the pull request title only, not the branch name or description.
  • Links and summaries are made after the AI review finishes, so a pull request Jasper doesn't review isn't linked.
