Compliance reports and evidence

Show who has done their training, chase who hasn't, and export proof for an audit.

Jasper keeps a record of every enrolment, completion and policy sign-off. The compliance reports turn that into a matrix of people against courses, a list of overdue learners, and an evidence trail you can export. Owners, admins and stakeholders can see the reports by default.

Open the reports

  1. Open Learn, then Compliance Reports.
  2. Read Per-course completion and Completions over time (last 30 days) for the big picture.
  3. Under Completion matrix, find each person's status for each published course: Complete, In progress, Overdue, Expired or Not started. Use Search people… to find someone.

Export the completion matrix

Click Export matrix (CSV) or Export matrix (PDF). The CSV has a row per person, with their email, and a column per published course. The export includes everyone, even if you searched first.

Chase overdue training

  1. Click Overdue list.
  2. Read each person's course, due date, days overdue and progress.

Jasper already reminds learners once a day about courses that are overdue or due within 3 days. See Assign courses for due dates and reminders.

Export sign-off evidence

  1. Click Evidence trail.
  2. Check the list of sign-offs: person, item, type, version, when they signed, when it expires, and IP address.
  3. Click Export evidence (CSV) or Export evidence (PDF).

The CSV also includes the exact statement each person agreed to. When a course needs redoing, Jasper keeps the old sign-off, but the evidence trail and its exports show only each person's latest sign-off for each item.

Check one course

Open the course from Manage Courses and click the Completion tab. It counts who is assigned, complete, in progress, overdue, and not started or expired, and lists each person's status, due date, completion date, progress and version. A "behind" flag marks people who completed an older version.

Limits

  • The overdue list has no filters and no export. Use the matrix export instead.
  • Jasper issues each person a certificate with a serial number when they complete a course, but nothing in Jasper links to the certificate page yet, and there is no public page to verify a serial.
  • Reports are in the web app only.
